On Saturday May 29^th, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada Luiz “Banha” Cane was defeated by French fighter Cyrille “The Snake” Diabate at UFC 114: Rampage vs. Evans.  They are fought a light heavyweight bout on the preliminary card.  Cyrille “The Snake” Diabate won by TKO from punches 2 minutes and 13 seconds into the first round.

This is Cyrille Diabate’s 7^th, win in a row and his very first fight ever in the UFC.  He now has a record of 16 – 6 – 1.  Luiz Cane has now lost 2 fights in a row and that is not good.  He now has a record of 10 – 3 – 1.
